How to Integrate a Team, That Changes the World Every Day?
Challenge
Companies from the technology industry operate in an extremely dynamic and demanding environment. Their teams are high-class specialists who appreciate creativity, development, and non-standard solutions. When one of the leaders of this sector entrusted us with organizing a two-day trip for 130 employees, we knew that standard ideas were not an option. A strategy was needed that would deliver not only entertainment, but also real, lasting value.
Challenge: Detach from Screens, Build Relationships and Values
The client set before us three main goals that went beyond typical integration:
- Break barriers: Create conditions for integration of people who work on a daily basis in different project teams and often communicate mainly online.
- Deliver unique experiences: Propose activities that would be both engaging and memorable long after returning to the office.
- Strengthen the sense of responsibility: Build in the team a sense of mutual trust and responsibility for each other, which is key in technology company culture.
Solution
Strategy of Two Pillars – Creativity and Skills
In response to these challenges, we based the trip program on two strong, complementary pillars, implemented in the luxurious surroundings of Hotel Narvil Conference & Spa.
PILLAR 1: CREATIVITY AND COOPERATION – CORPORATE LIPDUB
Instead of standard games, we proposed joint recording of a professional music video in LipDub convention.
- Why does it work? The realization of a Corporate LipDub is a complex creative project. It requires the team to divide into smaller groups, planning, coordination, and joint work on one spectacular "masterpiece". This is an excellent metaphor for project work that teaches communication and breaks down formal barriers in an engaging way, while at the same time releasing huge amounts of laughter and positive energy.
PILLAR 2: TRUST AND SKILLS – FIRST AID WORKSHOPS
The second day was devoted to acquiring practical skills that stay for life.
- Why does it work? Our workshops are not a boring lecture. These are advanced simulations with professional rescuers and makeup artists. Participants, acting in teams, had to make decisions under time pressure in realistically staged accidents. This type of experience builds deep trust and a sense of responsibility, showing that you can count on colleagues from the team even in crisis situations.
Everything was crowned with an evening party with DJ, which was a perfect opportunity for casual conversations and celebrating newly established relations in a relaxed atmosphere.
Results
Lasting Bonds, Real Skills and Unforgettable Memories
The combination of two so different activities brought spectacular and multidimensional results:
- Tangible Effect of Teamwork: A professional and full of energy music video was created, which is not only a fantastic souvenir, but also a powerful tool for internal employer branding.
- Acquisition of Certified Skills: Each of the 130 participants left the trip with practical, certificate-confirmed knowledge of lifesaving, which is enormous added value.
- Deep Team Integration: Participants had the opportunity to get to know each other both on the creative and humorous plane, as well as in conditions requiring focus and mutual trust, which built extremely strong bonds.
- Strengthening Organizational Culture: The trip proved that the company invests in the development of its employees in a holistic way – caring both for their creativity, as well as safety and real competencies.
This project is proof that the best integration trips are those that deliver not only emotions, but also real, lasting value for the entire team.
