What's Worth Knowing About the Company LipDub?
The LipDub is a unique form of integration that combines elements of a creative workshop, a film set, and a company party. Under the guidance of our director and camera operator, participants are tasked with creating a music video from scratch for a chosen popular song. The magic lies in the "one-shot" technique, which means recording the entire clip in one, continuous take without any editing cuts.
The process begins by dividing participants into smaller groups. We assign each group a segment of the song and the task of inventing simple, funny choreography and a scene. We provide a chest full of colorful props, wigs, and gadgets to help them get into character. After brief rehearsals, we start filming – the camera moves smoothly from team to team, and participants must perfectly sync their actions to create a cohesive whole. It's a controlled, laughter-filled chaos that brings spectacular results and is a fantastic form of creative team building.
Why Organize a LIPDUB?
-
A Creative Explosion & Collaboration: This scenario is a true creativity forge. Teams must brainstorm a concept together, plan their movements, and synchronize their actions with others. It's a practical lesson in project-based collaboration in an incredibly attractive format.
-
An Amazing Souvenir & Employer Branding Tool: The final music video is not just a fantastic memory. It's a professional, joy-filled video that you can use in internal communications, on social media, or during recruitment to showcase your company's culture and energy.
-
Energy & a Positive Icebreaker: Nothing breaks down barriers like dancing and singing together (even if it's lip-syncing!). A huge dose of positive energy, humor, and not taking oneself too seriously makes this one of the most effective ways to build informal relationships within a team.
When to Organize This Attraction?
- As the main attraction for an energizing integration party.
- To summarize an annual project or at the end of a quarter to celebrate success creatively.
- To communicate company values or a mission in an unconventional way (by matching the song to the message).
- During a company retreat as an engaging workshop that can be held at a hotel.
- For a special occasion (like a company anniversary) to create a fun and dynamic souvenir from the event.
